This policy covers your use of gnpath.cn and related features (registration/login, account management, personal notes, saved resources, membership and orders when available). If this policy differs from notices on the relevant page, follow the published notice or actual feature behavior.

2. Information We Collect

Account and verification details: mobile number, optional email, verification methods and timestamps, account status, and attempt counts used to prevent abuse.
Security and logs: login or verification timestamps, IP addresses, device identifiers (e.g., User-Agent), failed attempts, security/audit records, and administrative actions where applicable.
Account and feature data: profile details (e.g., display name, role, years of experience), personal notes and saved resources, membership plan and order status (when in use).
Cookies and local storage: used for session continuity, security checks (now using JWT authentication), and required preferences. We currently use only cookies necessary to deliver the service; if we later introduce optional analytics or experience cookies, we will provide notice and choice.

3. How We Use Information

Provide account and product features: registration/login, saving notes and resources, and membership or order processing when available.
Protect security and prevent abuse: detect unusual activity, rate-limit brute force attempts, and maintain risk/audit logs.
Communicate with you: respond to security matters, important updates, or your support and inquiry requests.
Comply with legal and regulatory requirements.

4. Sharing, Delegation, and Disclosure

We may engage service providers (e.g., SMS delivery, cloud hosting, logging/security tools) to perform necessary processing and require them to follow confidentiality and security obligations.

We do not sell your personal information to unrelated third parties.

5. Storage Location, Cross-Border Handling, and Security

Data for gnpath.cn is stored and processed in mainland China by default, and we currently have no plan to transfer personal information abroad. If cross-border transfers become necessary, we will assess them and obtain consent or provide notice as required by law.
We use reasonable security measures (including encrypted transport, access control, audit logging, and risk controls) to protect data. No system is entirely risk-free, so please safeguard your credentials.

6. Retention

Account and feature data: kept while your account is active; upon account deletion requests, data will be deleted or de-identified according to our rules.
Security and audit logs: retained as required by law and security needs (not shorter than statutory requirements, generally not less than 6 months).
Verification/OTP records: kept for abuse prevention and cleared per security policy after the purpose is met.

8. Minors

If you are under 14, use the service with guardian consent and guidance. If we learn that information was submitted without proper consent, we will address it via the published contact channels.
